Welcome to 2018, friends! I hope you all enjoyed your New Year’s Eve celebrations last night. Alex and I spent the evening with my parents over dinner and the traditional Dick Clarke’s Rockin’ NYE special. It was exactly what I wanted… a quiet, no-fuss evening. Usually, I wake up and the new year doesn’t seem so different. It’s just another day and you have the same obligations, routines, etc. but this time something did feel different. Perhaps it was the empty streets during our short walk to Arbutus Coffee or the clean and brisk air but it felt like a reset button had been pushed. All of the duties from 2017 had been completed and I have a new list of tasks to conquer in 2018 – some I’ve done before but most I haven’t experienced so I foresee new learning curves along the way. Here are a few things to come in 2018…
- Business coaching for my marketing career to discover new methods (I won’t be the coach but will be coached)
- Making contacts in new cities for potential projects
- Focusing on Production Management and Art Direction
- Travel posts on the site
- Petitioning a stop sign in my neighborhood
- Editing more video
What will you be tackling this year? Do we have the same to-do list??
