When you’re a fashion blogger or just a fashion enthusiast in general, you can queue up a pretty long “to-buy” list of lust worthy items (case in point this amazing Club Monaco camel coat!!). When the seasons change, so does our lists and as reality will have it, you can’t always buy everything on your list for that season. What I’ve found to benefit me the most is purchase items that are classic styles and cuts. Since they aren’t very trendy styles, they will take me through each season and I can find them each season.
For example, my list has included a coat in black, camel, grey, navy and a texture. Each coat can run from $250-$500 for the quality and brand. Since these items are not necessities, I allow myself to purchase 1 coat each fall/winter every year. I really just need one coat to last me through the season so to begin, I purchased the black as it will go with all outfits. This year I purchased this beautiful camel coat and I am SO happy with it!
I found this Club Monaco camel coat on sale from $500 to $250, what a deal!! I really think it may be the perfect camel coat because of these features:
- long length
- muted camel color
- 1 button
- side angle pockets
- menswear inspired lapels that can be buttoned up to cover my chest
- strong shoulders
- warm enough to wear a t-shirt
PS. Shopbop has the light grey version on sale HERE!
Next purchases on my list:
- Grey coat
- Navy coat
- High ankle, low heel Chelsea boots – just purchased them tonight!!!
- Black hobo bag
- Black denim midi skirt
- Black Puma classic lace up sneakers OR black Adidas Gazelle lace up sneakers
I talk a lot about classic must have items to include in your wardrobe. Would you like to see a post rounding up the 20 must have items for a classic wardrobe?? Let me know in the comment section or on social via @RandaSalloum!
Lastly, can we just talk about this jewelry from Kara Yoo?? I discovered her designs on Instagram and it’s the perfect minimalist jewelry made in Vancouver. You can find the items I’m wearing at the bottom of this post.
