I’m very excited to share today’s post! If you read my Wednesday post then you’ll remember that I had some fun news to share. I’ve finally hosted my first planned event as the Vancouver Ambassador for Rémy Cointreau.
With 21 others in attendance and a four course meal paired with handcrafted cocktails prepared by Hy’s Steakhouse, this was an evening to remember. 4 hours flew by as we all sipped cognac cocktails and spoke endless conversations with each other. The vibe was exactly what I had envisioned!
I’m not one for public speaking… I mean, I’ll do it but I don’t enjoy it hahaha. I always feel like I’m speaking way faster than I actually am and the speech that I had planned in my head for 3 days came out completely different once I opened my mouth. Fortunately for myself, I think I nailed it!
Our evening ended with an experience to remember. All 22 of us (some for the first time) got the chance to experience a 100 year barrel aged bottle of Louis XIII. This bottle is totaled at $6500 and yes it tasted like it!
I can’t express enough thank yous to those that helped make this possible. Firstly, a major thank you to the team at Rémy Cointreau for providing me with the platform to make cool things happen! Secondly, thank you to the entire team of Hy’s Steakhouse for hosting the most detailed dinner. Lastly, thank you to everyone who attended. You truly made this event what it was!
