Canada Day Weekend in Vancouver

Happy Canada Day weekend to all of my Canadian readers! I don’t think I’ve ever made the effort to celebrate Canada Day in my adult years unless watching the fireworks counts? This year is a little different since working with Robson Street. I’ve had the opportunity to help plan one of the biggest public events that each year has to offer. For the last 4 months the Robson Street Business Association has been planning Canada’s 150th celebration so that means I’ll be partaking in all of our planned festivities and managing the run of show with my partner in crime, Teri. Come and find me at the Robson Street tent at 800 Bute Street from 11AM – 4PM!

Alex’s siblings have also arrived this weekend from New York & Detroit and we have a foodie packed weekend ahead. We like to take opportunities like these to try out some of Vancouver’s best restaurants and we sure didn’t skimp. We’ve made reservations at CinCin Ristorante + Bar, Botanist, Kissa Tanto, Hawksworth and Cacao. Do you have any recommendations? Let me know & follow along on my Instagram stories @RandaSalloum.

What do you have planned for the Canada Day weekend? I hope it’s filled with lots of food and fun!
